That's right - I've got two part ones of a set where they stamped part two on the second one. I've tried to contact them in every way imaginable - through their site, on twitter and facebook, but no response.
They have no direct phone number, and I'm really angry, because now they say it's a For what? If anyone can help me get Part Two of this series, it would be much appreciated.
Otherwise, I will check carefully to make sure I don't purchase from these scam artists ever again. Disappointed in the audio.
My review is primarily about the Blu-Ray and not the show itself which I enjoyed. The good: Visually, this series is gorgeous.
The transfer is beautiful and sharp. Despite there being a lot of soft gradients and dark palettes, it's rare to see banding or artifacts.
The subtitles have been programmed and positioned very well. I'll add a disclaimer that I'm relatively new to watching Blu-Ray, so I may still be in the honeymoon phase comparing it to DVDs I own, but I'm very happy with the visuals.
The bad: I prefer to watch most anime in Japanese with subtitles, so this didn't bother me, but if you don't like subtitles, you're out of luck - there is no English or any other language dub.
It's extremely disappointing that there's no 5. I'm not sure what more I would have wanted to see. As the title for this review states, this anime is about personifications of battleships and submarines.
This is nothing new to anime, since there are other titles out there that have personifications of inanimate objects.
Anyhow, this series gives you a nice blend of action, drama, comedy, and intrigue. The characters are generally good and likable, epecially most of the personified battleships and submarines.
The overall quality of the picture and sound for this release is top-notch. I had a great time watching this series and highly recommend it to anyone who wants something a little bit different.
This was a nice set but even though it came with 2 sets of disks,.. You simply cannot find this anime anywhere without spending a small fortune and this was one of the best prices i found so far.

This was a nice set but even though it came with 2 sets of disks,.. Le capitaine, Chihaya Gunzou, n'est pas non plus vraiment expressif.
En tous cas on sent bien qu'on est en 3D tout le temps, c'est un peu dommage. Au niveau de l'histoire, l'introduction est bien fichue.
